 In preparation for Reconciliation Weekend, March 19-20, 1999, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in November, 1998 established a toll-free telephone number, 1-877-BLESS-ME (1-877-253-7763), for those who wish to speak with a priest with anonymity and confidentiality about re-connecting with the Church, going to Confession, etc. perhaps because of a particular problem or reason for alienation. Response was so great, that this toll-free hotline is continuing indefinitely.

On March 1, 1999, a Bless Me WEB site was established at www.blessme.org to accept questions and concerns to priests via e-mail from those who click on "Disciples on the Internet."

Volunteer priests of the archdiocese respond to the telephone calls and e-mail. to help those who are not sure where to begin in reconciling with God and the Church.
